We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Docket Clerk to join our litigation firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the firm's case docket, ensuring that all deadlines, filings, and court appearances are accurately tracked. The Docket Clerk will work closely with attorneys and legal staff to support case progression by calendaring important dates, monitoring court schedules, and assisting with document management. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks, and knowledge of litigation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the case docket, including deadlines, hearings, and court filings.
- Coordinate with attorneys to ensure timely filing of documents and responses.
- Monitor court schedules and notify the legal team of upcoming dates.
- Assist with organizing and tracking case files and documents.
- Provide general administrative support to litigation attorneys as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous 1+ year of experience as a docket clerk at a law firm required.
- While this position is currently fully remote, the position will eventually be hybrid 3 days/week in office. Candidates unavailable for hybrid opportunities will not be considered and relocation is not currently provided
- Familiarity with litigation processes and court rules.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
